A man was rescued from a lake in Cary on Thursday evening after a passerby reported seeing him floating in the water near Lochmere and Kildaire Farm roads, according to Cary police.
Just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday, police received the call about a man floating in Lochmere Lake. They called the fire department, which helped get the man out of the water.
The man, whose name has not been released, was wearing jogging clothes, according to Cary police Capt. Mike Williams. It appears the man had some sort of medical problem, and police do not think the situation was suspicious, said Williams.
