GOLDSTON — Gregory Brent Mashburn, 53, of Goldston died Friday night when a moped he was driving went off the shoulder of Bonlee Carbonton Road, crashed and caught fire, the Highway Patrol said.
The accident happened 6.6 miles west of Goldston at about 9:30 p.m., troopers said. They said Mashburn’s moped was headed north on the road went it off the right side.
He was declared dead at the scene, troopers said.
