The NCAA has released the dates for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament first and second rounds, a portion of which will be hosted by Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Blue Devils will host on Sunday, March 24 and Tuesday, March 26, 2013.
Duke will host the first and second rounds for the third time in the last four years. The Blue Devils are riding a 16-game winning streak in NCAA Tournament games played in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke owns an all-time record of 18-2 in NCAA Tournament contests played at home.
Other sites hosting in 2013 include Baton Rouge, La. (LSU); Boulder, Colo. (Colorado); College Park, Md. (Maryland); College Station, Texas (Texas A&M); Columbus, Ohio (Ohio State); Iowa City, Iowa (Iowa); Knoxville, Tenn. (Tennessee); Louisville, Ky. (Louisville); Lubbock, Texas (Texas Tech); Newark, Del. (Delaware); Queens, N.Y. (St. John’s); Spokane, Wash. (Gonzaga); Stanford, Calif. (Stanford); Storrs, Conn. (Connecticut), and Waco, Texas (Baylor).
The four regional sites for 2013 are Norfolk, Va.; Oklahoma City.; Spokane, Wash., and Trenton, N.J.
