RALEIGH — Police have charged a former BB&T employee with stealing more than $35,000 over nearly a year from the bank branch where she worked.
Fuquay-Varina police charged Vicky H. Adams, 40, of Willow Spring, with two felony counts of embezzlement, according to arrest warrants filed Wednesday at the Wake County Magistrates Office.
Investigators think the offenses occurred Jan. 12, 2010, through Oct. 11, 2011, court records show.
One warrant accuses Adams of embezzling $26,761.87 and a second warrant alleges an additional $8,700.64 for a total of $35,462.51
Adams is in custody at the Wake County jail, her bail set at $5,000.
