Knightdale-based childrens label Fleming Clothing is hosting its first warehouse sale this weekend in a temporary space in Cameron Village. The sale will be held Thursday through Sunday in the 2020 building on Cameron Street, near Baskin-Robbins. Samples and overstock of clothing from all seasons will be sold at a significant reduction from the original retail price. During the sale, shoppers who buy four items will receive one of equal of lesser value for free. Customers can also score one free monogram for purchases of $50 or more (each additional monogram is $5). Fleming Samuels, founder of the brand, will be at the sale to meet and assist customers. Grand opening
The day for Triangle shoppers eagerly awaiting the opening of hip clothier Madewell has arrived. The casual-chic retailer has opened at the Streets at Southpoint in Durham. During the grand opening, customers will receive a free tote with purchase, while supplies last. Madewell is on the lower level near Macys and Nordstrom. 919-572-8800.

Cameron Village shops are taking the savings outdoors for its annual sidewalk sale, Friday through Sunday. Stores will set up sale tables along the sidewalks of the shopping center 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday-Saturday and 1-6 p.m., Sunday. www.shopcameronvillage.com.

The Art of Style in Cameron Village hosts its annual Black and White Party 7-9 p.m. Friday. Shoppers are encouraged to don their most stylish black-and-white ensembles for drinks, food, music and deals on clothing for both men and women. Kannons Clothing in Wendell recently became the first Triangle store to carry the Loggerhead Apparel ( www.loggerheadapparel.com). Based in South Carolina, the line offers preppy polos, tees and accessories for both men and women, bearing the labels signature turtle logo. Support the military
North Carolina locations of the Hair Saloon for Men salons are collecting supplies for the Fisher House, a charity that supports military families. Through Dec. 31, the salons will accept donations of everything from toiletries to gift cards for the Fisher House, which provides housing near medical/VA centers for the families of active or retired military members who are hospitalized.
