Jabari Parker, considered the top basketball prospect in the nation in the class of 2013, announced on Wednesday that Duke and North Carolina are among the 10 schools he is considering.
Parker, a 6-foot-7 small forward at Simeon Vocational High in Chicago, is also considering Kentucky, Stanford, Michigan State, Kansas, Florida, BYU, Georgetown and DePaul. Parker announced his 10 finalists through his Twitter account, and he listed each school, he wrote, in no order.
According to Rivals.com, UNC coach Roy Williams has been the Tar Heels primary recruiter for Parker, while Blue Devils assistant coach Chris Collins has been recruiting Parker for Duke.
