RALEIGH — Firefighters said a fire that slightly damaged a home on Willow Lake Drive in northeast Raleigh Friday afternoon was set.
The fire at 4312 Willow Lake was reported by neighbors about 2:45 p.m. and was under control less than 15 minutes later, according to the fire department’s report.
In that report, Capt. Tim Wilson, one of the department’s investigators, listed arson as the cause.
No one was hurt in the fire at the two-story, wood-frame home. About 5 percent of the building was damaged before the fire was put out, and residents were able to stay in the house, Wilson said.
