Water folly
Silly me! All this time, I thought I needed to conserve water. There are so many ads on TV to help us to use less water, as our resources are “limited.”
But then, our legislators vote to move forward with fracking. They obviously know more than we do. To use millions of gallons of water per well, tells me that there is much more water available than we are being told.
No more brushing my teeth without water, no more jamming my dishwasher and running it only once a week, no more 5-minute showers twice a week, no more grass dying all summer long, no more letting yellow mellow. The sky is the limit.
Thanks to the legislature, I now know that there is no water shortage in North Carolina.
