FOUR OAKS — A tractor-trailer rolled over while trying to round a bend in Devils Racetrack Road early Saturday and spilled its contents, closing the road, authorities said.
Johnston County officials said they received the call about the accident at 4:12 a.m. They had no report of injuries.
It happened where the two-lane road bends in the 8000 block, south of Stewart Road, they said.
State Department of Transportation crews were called to put up signs to notify motorists that the road would be closed until the debris could be cleared.
Dispatchers said they did not know what the truck was carrying.
