RALEIGH — Crystal Marie Petrouske was being held at the Wake County Jail on $954,700 bond Sunday after Raleigh police filed charges of possessing and trafficking in opiates and possessing cocaine with intent to sell it and served with eight arrest warrants for failure to appear in court on other charges.
Petrouske, 28, of 2224 New Hope Church Road, Raleigh, also was charged by the State Highway Patrol with driving with a revoked license and operating a vehicle with a canceled registration after she was stopped on U.S. 401 near midnight Sunday.
According to arrest warrants, police found more than 28 grams of opiates and 0.3 grams of cocaine in Petrouskes possession. She had been brought to the police station on Six Forks Road, where the drug charges were made. Officers listed the drugs as 24 diazapam pills and 11 alprazolam pills. Both are used to treat anxiety, and diazapam, sometimes sold under the brand name Valium, has other uses.
She also was charged with maintaining a Ford sedan as a place from which to sell drugs.
