Police in Cary are searching for a woman involved in a hit and run last week.
A woman who appeared to be about 50 years old driving a dark green Honda or Nissan struck a motorcyclist at the intersection of Autumngate Drive and Kildaire Farm Road last Monday and then fled the scene, according to Cary police.
The accident occurred around 2 p.m. on July 30. The driver is believed to have dark or graying shoulder-length hair and she is slightly overweight, said police. After the crash, the driver continued driving on Kildaire Farm Road in the direction of Ten Ten Road.
