Two arrested on charges of illegal possession of firearms

— Two Wake County men were arrested for possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm with an altered serial number Friday.

Pablo Daniel Reyes, also known as “Trigger,” 20, of 8205 Rhodes Road in Apex, was also charged with illegally concealing the firearms, assaulting an officer, assaulting a government official and resisting an officer.

Reyes was in possession of a stolen Springfield Armory XD-40 subcompact .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol and a North American Arms Guardian .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol at the time of his arrest.

Reyes is being held in the Wake County jail, his bail set at $44,000.

The bail for Silverio Hernandez Flores, 36, of 813 Navajo Drive in Raleigh, is set at $15,000 for the weapons charges.
