APEX — An Apex teen was arrested Friday and charged in a string of break-ins involving seven cars and one house in Raleigh.

Thomas Chad Mayo,17, of 103 Atkinson Court was charged with five counts of first degree burglary and eight counts of breaking and entering. Mayo allegedly stole $1,125 worth of technology, currency, gift cards and costume jewelry from the various vehicles and house.
