CARY — Six people three of them students at Cardinal Gibbons High School were injured in a multi-vehicle crash that temporarily closed Chapel Hill Road in East Cary Friday morning.
Details of the crash and the identities of the injured were not released Friday, but Town of Cary spokesperson Carrie Roman said the three students were in critical condition at WakeMed in Raleigh late Friday evening.
The accident occurred just after 11:20 a.m. at the intersection of Chapel Hill and Trinity roads, according to Cary police Lt. Tracey Barker.
Police have not yet determined what caused the accident, he said.
