— The Frederick Keys benefitted from some controversial calls in the 10th inning and beat the Carolina Mudcats 2-1 on Sunday night at Harry Grove Stadium.

The Mudcats, who have lost three in a row, dropped to 63-76.

David Walters (3-6) earned the win for Frederick (61-77), despite blowing the save. With the Keys leading 1-0 in the ninth, Giovanny Urshela homered off the right-hander to tie the score.

The Mudcats will finish the regular season against Frederick on Monday at 2 p.m.
