The Wake County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Perquimans County man on charges of statutory rape.

Arrest records show that Mario Skinner, 45, of 333 Dobbs St. in Hertford, was arrested Friday on one count of statutory rape dating to July 24. The arrest warrant says Skinner is at least six years older than the minor victim.

Skinner is being held at the Wake County jail, his bail set $200,000.
