DURHAM — Police are trying to locate Nicholas Maurice Beatty, who is wanted on kidnapping and firearms charges in connection with a Sept. 2 domestic incident.
Beatty, 26, of North Roxboro Street, is wanted on charges of kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault with a deadly weapon, assault by pointing a gun, discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling, communicating threats and discharging a firearm within the city limits.
Beatty is known to frequent the 2500 block of North Roxboro Street and Fairfax Road, according to police spokeswoman Kammie Michael. He may be driving a black GMC Yukon or a gold Mercedes.
