CHAPEL HILL — Police are seeking information about three men who climbed through the ceiling of a business on East Rosemary Street and stole an “abundant” amount of alcohol from behind the bar.
Security cameras showed the men – clean shaven with short hair and estimated by police to be in their 20s – walking into the lobby of Pulse Night Club, 36 East Rosemary St., around 2:22 a.m. Monday. They subsequently climbed through the ceiling to gain access to the bar where they stole approximately $2,500 worth of alcohol.
Two of the men were described as having blonde hair and wearing khaki shorts. One was wearing a light blue T-shirt and white tennis shoes, and had a white wrist band on his right hand. The second man was dressed in a white tank top, khaki shorts, white tennis shoes and had some type of black necklace around his neck.
The third man is described as a brunette. He was wearing a white T-shirt with indistinguishable writing, blue jeans, white flip-flops and a black band or watch on his left wrist.
Their descriptions did not include any other identifying information about the men, such as tattoos or scars.
Police are asking anyone with information about the identity of these individuals to call the Chapel Hill Police Department at 968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 942-7515. Calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to arrest.
