See spectacular gardens Sept. 15-16 during Raleigh Open Days, a benefit for The Garden Conservancy and the JC Raulston Arboretum.
Discounted tickets ($25 for booklets of six) are available in advance at the Arboretum and also at each garden during the event itself.
Self-guided tours are from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 15 and noon-5 p.m. Sept. 16.
Opening their gardens to visitors are Dennis and Georgina Werner, Maynard Garden, Quarry Hill, Sorge Gardens and The Gardens at Ashland Hall, all in Raleigh; and The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary.
The Garden Conservancy’s Open Days Program has been opening gates to the nation’s best private gardens since 1995. This year’s program features more than 300 gardens in 19 states.
