He was held on a $35,000 bond for a schedule court appearance Friday. He is charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
An arrest warrant charges that McClaude broke into the single-family home between Aug. 16 and Aug. 18 and made off with the safe. Inside it were seven guns, some of them pistols and some long guns, it said.
Police did not say how heavy the gun safe was or if the guns were recovered.
