RALEIGH — A white flyer warning woman to “be on the look out” for a man seen following women into restrooms of downtown buildings was issued to employees at the Wake County Courthouse on Monday morning.
The man is described as black with a short afro haircut. He is believed to be around 25 years old and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, khaki pants, and red tennis shoes. There are no other characteristics described such as facial hair or tattoos. Security officials do not know his name, but say he is using the alias, “Xavier Hunt.”
According to the flyer, the man has been seen in buildings throughout downtown, including at the Wake County Courthouse, where he has followed women into the bathroom and then watched them inside the bathroom.
Anyone who sees the man or who has had an encounter with him is asked to call 911, or the security center at the Wake County Courthouse at 919-856-7007. Citizens can also call the Wake County Courthouse Deputy Station 1 at 919-856-6590.
