GARNER — A town man faces charges that he was growing marijuana at the West Garner Road house where he lives.
Police arrested Jackie Leroy Flanagan Jr., 41, of 1322 W. Garner Road at the house Tuesday afternoon. They said he had about 7.7 pounds of marijuana and had been growing it in a “traditional dirt-grow operation.”
Charges against Flanagan included felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell or distribute, manufacturing marijuana and maintaining a dwelling place from which to sell drugs. He also faces several misdemeanor charges.
Magistrates set Flanagan’s total bond at $32,000.
