Bag one of these
Tired of last years handbag? Then bring your gently used purse to Globetrotter in Cameron Village during their Hobo handbag trade-in sale and trunk show, through Sept. 30. Shoppers will receive a $50 coupon good toward Hobo Handbag purchases of $198 for bag donations. A good deed
Since opening in Crabtree Valley Mall four years ago, Diamonds Direct has hosted several charity shopping events to benefit local nonprofits. The store put on another event in August that raised more than $10,000 to benefit three local charities: Womens Center of Wake County, Triangle Family Services, and Red Sword Guild. Due to this years success, the store plans to make it an annual event. For more info about Diamonds Direct and their charitable efforts, visit diamonds-direct.com.
