RALEIGH — Police charged Montez Daquan Bascombe late Tuesday with robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault causing serious injury in the shooting of a man during a robbery Sept. 19.
Bascombe, 19, of 817 Chatham Lane in Raleigh, also faces a count of conspiring with a second, unnamed person to commit a robbery.
Arrest warrants allege that Bascombe took a wallet and a cell phone from the victim, who was not critically hurt.
Bascombe was held on a total bond of $551,000 pending a court appearance Wednesday.
