RALEIGH — Wake County rolls out its newly upgraded website next week.
The site’s upgrade contains improved search options and a streamlined design, with features based on feedback from county residents. The county says WakeGOV will quickly link citizens to user-friendly information by means of various media, from traditional computers to mobile devices.
Wake County will launch the upgraded website at www.wakegov.com for the general public on Tuesday.
“Technology, particularly the web, changes rapidly, and we want to stay in a position where we can leverage these changes to improve the services we offer,” said County Manager David Cooke. “Our new site is a reflection of the latest technology advances combined with the feedback of our users.”
This is the first upgrade to WakeGOV since 2005.
