Chaz Michael Alivo

Two men who live in Garner were being held on a half-million-dollars bond each to face charges of trafficking in heroin in the city.

Police arrested Chaz Michael Alivo, 28, of 1224 J R Drive in Garner on Thursday morning along with Joseph Dexter Hardison, 37, of 1552 New Bethel Church Road, Garner.

According to arrest warrants that lodged four counts each of heroin trafficking, the two had between 4 and 14 grams of the drug.

The multiple counts stem from police filing one each for possession, transportation, delivery and sale. The warrants allege that the men sold heroin before their arrests.

Alivo was listed in an warrant as living in Holly Springs, but police later listed the Garner address for him.
