Raleigh man arrested for counterfeit crack

— A Raleigh man was arrested Saturday attempting to sell crushed aspirin pills as crack cocaine, authorities say.

Dennis Fitzgerald Kornegay, 40, of 425 Montague Lane was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or distribute counterfeit drugs.

Kornegay was arrested for the same offense in 1995 when he attempted to pass of a substance as cocaine. Kornegay’s bail is set at $5,000.
