RALEIGH — Police discovered the body of a woman, reported missing by her family late Sunday, Monday morning in Lake Lynn.

The victim, Gulalay Bahawdory, 60, of 4316 Waterbury Road, was found by police shortly after daybreak, according to police spokesman Jim Sughrue. Investigators do not think foul play is involved, he said.

Bahawdory had been reported missing by a family member at 11:52 p.m. Sunday, and a police officer spotted her vehicle overnight near Lake Lynn.

Police began searching the water, but did not find her body until daybreak, Sughrue reported.
