RALEIGH — Sheriff’s deputies early Tuesday charged a 37-year-old man with biting his brother’s finger.
George Benjamin Blake, whose address is listed in an arrest report as 725 Locust Lane, was charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury, a felony.
In a warrant for Blake’s arrest, Wake County deputies charged him with hitting Thomas Blake Jr. in the face and “biting off the victim’s finger.” The warrant does not say how much of the finger was removed.
George Blake was arrested at his home shortly before 5 a.m.
The warrant does not say if the incident happened there or elsewhere.
George Blake was being held Tuesday on a $25,000 bond. Thomas Blake’s condition was unknown.
County tax records do not list an address of 725 Locust Lane, but there are several residences on the street, which carries a Raleigh mailing address.
