Raleigh police find cash, drugs, guns at accused dealer's home

— Police found $15,000 in cash, drugs and guns during a search of a suspected drug dealer’s home, according to the search warrant filed Tuesday at the Wake County Courthouse.

Police received an anonymous tip that Justin Andrew Leider, 26, was selling drugs out of his apartment at 4811 Smith Creek Parkway, Apartment 205. The tipster told police Leider received the marijuana in the mail from California, then sold it locally.

When they searched Leider’s apartment on Sept.26, police found $15,000 in cash, more than 2.5 pounds of marijuana, 142 grams of mushrooms thought to have psychedelic properties, and 100 grams of marijuana chocolate.

Detectives also found a rifle, three pistols, one shotgun, a revolver and 21 rounds of ammunition.

Leider is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance, and maintaining a dwelling place to possess a controlled substance.
