— Police stopped a car Wednesday afternoon because they suspected the driver was impaired, and that led to his being charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell or distribute it.

They arrested Pittman at U.S. 1 and Purnell Road, according to an online arrest report.

In addition to the felony possession charge and the a misdemeanor driving while impaired charge, police alleged Pittman was using a Volkswagen Jetta as a vehicle for keeping drugs.

His bond was set at $10,000 pending a court appearance Thursday.
