RALEIGH — City narcotics officers Friday charged two middle-aged men with cocaine trafficking and conspiracy after police seized 44 grams of the drug.
Arrest reports show that police arrested Zenon Jimenez Jr., 47, of 502 Colleton Road in Raleigh was arrested at police headquarters about 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Etanislao Diaz Frias, 52, of 4610 Millbrook Green Drive, Apt. 203, in Raleigh was arrested at the same station about four hours later.
Warrants charging both men with trafficking in cocaine and conspiracy to sell cocaine were sworn out shortly after Frias’ arrest. Jimenez also was charged with failing to appear in court on two previous misdemeanor charges, records show.
Both men told police they are self-employed, Frias listing his occupation as construction and Jimenez telling police he is a contractor.
Frias was being held Friday on a $75,000 bond and for immigration authorities to check his legal status. He is listed as a native of the Dominican Republic.
Jimenez was being held on a total bond of $152,000.
