DURHAM — State troopers were investigating a fatal accident that happened Sunday night on N.C. 751 near U.S. 70 in Orange County.
One person was killed in the two-car accident. Officers have not released the name or age of the person as they worked to notify next of kin.
The crash was reported at 10:47 p.m., troopers said.
No charges have been filed.
The accident happened near a bridge that carries N.C. 751 over railroad tracks in Duke Forest, about an eighth of a mile south of U.S. 70, officials said.
