— Police arrested a woman at a McDonald’s restaurant early Sunday morning and charged her with possessing heroin with intent to sell.

Francine Jewel Johnson, 31, of 2140 Persimmon Ridge Drive in Raleigh was taken into custody about 5:30 a.m., according to an arrest report.

Police said they seized 20 bindles of heroin, small packets used to hold one dose. The total quantity was 0.8 grams, they said.

In addition to possession, police charged Johnson with possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a residence or vehicle as a place to keep drugs and resisting arrest.

She was freed on bond pending a court appearance Monday.
