Sam Dearstyne, 19, a sophomore at N.C. State University, gets an "I Voted" mustache for pledging to vote at the campus' Talley Student Center. Representatives from the NCPIRG (North Carolina Public Interest Research Group) began their one-day goal of getting 4,000 students to pledge they would vote across 5 state campuses on Thursday, October 18, 2012. They also handed out paper mustaches to anyone that wanted them that had already voted on the first day of early voting. they hope to get 100,000 student pledges before the November national election.
