Boy Scouts sexual abuse files

Published: October 19, 2012

On Oct. 18 a law firm in Oregon, O'Donnell, Clark & Crew LLP, released information about allegations of sexual abuse by leaders within the Boy Scouts of America.

According to the law firm, the information in the files concerns allegations of child sexual abuse. In a number of the cases, the allegations were later substantiated by court proceedings. However, in a great many cases no such substantiation ever occurred. The firm acquired the files as part of a 2012 lawsuit that ended in the Boy Scouts being ordered to pay $20 million.

This is a searchable database of the law firm's files.
