Zagat is conducting its first-ever survey of the Triangle restaurant scene.
From now until Nov. 30, the public is invited to visit www.zagat.com/voteRaleigh to share their opinions about the restaurants they have visited this past year.
Diners are asked to rate restaurants in three categories: food, decor and service, while also providing the estimated cost of dinner plus drink and tip (for one person). Zagat, whose capsule reviews quote extensively from diners' comments, also asks diners to share any witty comments or descriptions of their experiences.
For those who finalize their votes before Nov. 30, Zagat is offering a free copy of the guide when it is published and a $5 coupon off any Zagat item from Barnes & Noble or BN.com.
