DURHAM A Durham branch of Wells Fargo bank was robbed Thursday afternoon by a lone man wielding a firearm.
The assailant entered the bank, located at 300 Foushee St., around 3:45 p.m. with a black cloth partially covering his face and demanded money from a teller, according to police spokeswoman Kammie Michael.
The suspect who is being described as a black male, approximately 5’10”, took an undisclosed amount of money, and then ran from the bank toward East Club Boulevard.
Police provided no further description of the suspect such as hairstyle, scars, tattoos or facial hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
