School project nets Eagle rank

Ben Klavon has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his Eagle project, Ben designed wooden benches and a planted area at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School in Apex.

Ben, the son of Claudia and David Klavon, is a recent graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh and a member of Troop 316. His older brother, Alex, was honored in the same ceremony for attaining his Eagle rank.
