Not customers

In one of Pat McCrory’s most recent TV ads, he reveals more of his exploitative Republican vision for North Carolina in one word than all the words he or his party have spouted over the past years. When McCrory talks about what he wants, the last line in the ad is “and a government that treats us like customers.” No, Pat. I’m not your customer; I’m a voting citizen, which makes me your boss.
