Hurts so good

Isn’t it rather curious that the GOP never mentions President George W. Bush in its ads nor do their candidates in their speeches? My take on this is that they are admitting that the policies of his administration were a disaster to be swept under the rug. And yet they are asking us to return to power the party responsible for such a mess that it will take decades to overcome.

If the polls are to be believed, about half of the electorate are willing to do this. I suggest that part of that group is strictly partisan, part is uninformed and the rest are masochistic.
