Taylor Jarrell of Durham has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.
For his Eagle project, Taylor built and installed trail signs and benches at the Glennstone Nature Preserve in northern Durham.
Taylor, the son of Roger and Janice Jarrell, graduated this year from Durham School of the Arts and currently attends East Carolina University. He is a member of Troop 486 at Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Durham.
