Too many D’s

Your editorial endorsements of candidates were so one-sided that they were ludicrous. I counted the D’s (21) and the R’s (4) in your Nov. 5 listing. When one adds the four liberal judges on the endorsement list with no party affiliation, the totals are 25 liberals and four conservatives. Your failure to endorse Supreme Cout Justice Paul Newby when he was backed by four former Supreme Court justices, two Democrats and two Republicans, was astounding.

I also noticed that you printed the endorsements in a wallet-sized format for convenience in taking to the voting booth. Congratulations on N&O objectivity.
