Economy still ‘locked’

I hope President Obama doesn’t think Tuesday’s election results represent a mandate from America to keep on his current course. The economy is still significantly broken, and so far his policies as implemented have been economically – and specifically small-business – hostile and surly. He would be well advised to recognize that except for weekly paroxysms of candidates’ foot in mouth disease there would now be a Republican president-elect (“47 percent”) and a Republican-controlled Senate (“legitimate rape”).

I’ll wager all of the people who voted for Mitt Romney and a non-trivial percent of those who held their nose and voted for the president think Obamanomics is just another locked gas station bathroom door on the highway of life.
