Three Wake County 4-H members were chosen to attend the 4-H Citizenship North Carolina Focus event in Raleigh.

Along with other young people from around the state, Sarah Morgan, Safa Ahmed and Chloe Pacyna learned about state government and how to develop action plans for causes in their local communities. N.C. Rep. Marilyn Avila visited the event and spoke about the legislative process.

Safa is homeschooled in Wake County, Sarah is a junior at Sanderson High School in Raleigh and Chloe is a sophomore at The Ravenscroft School in Raleigh.
