Scout makes mark with trail

Christopher Nobblitt of Hillsborough has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his project, Chris led his troop and other volunteers in blazing a trail for Camp New Hope and Conference Center, which is located between Chapel Hill and Hillsborough.

Chris, the son of Robyn and Terry Nobblitt, is a senior at Cedar Ridge High School in Hillsborough and a member of Troop 449 at New Hope Church in Chapel Hill.
