RALEIGH — Police arrested a man Tuesday night on charges that he was the person who held a man against his will and robbed him of his wallet and money and a cell phone Nov. 3.
Jerry Lee Williams Jr., 19, of 441 Montague Lane in Raleigh was picked up Tuesday night on Wake Towne Drive, according to an online police report.
In an arrest warrant, police charged that he had used “a large-framed handgun” to hold a man against his will while taking the items.
The charges against Williams were robbery with a dangerous weapon and second-degree kidnapping.
Police also charged him with failing to appear in court when he was supposed to in connection misdemeanor charge.
He was held on a total bond of $101,000.
