Green Hope got the only goal it needed when Josh Kennedy scored in the 66th minute of play. He took a pass in the box and fired a shot at the far post.
Zack Compton added a final goal with 1:51 left.
Green Hope (24-2) defeated Myers Park (20-4-1) in last years finals 2-1 in overtime.
Green Hope graduated 13 seniors last year and returned only four players from the championship team. Veteran coach Andrew Chadwick, ESPNs national coach of the year, resigned after the title game and was replaced by Richard Huxford.
