RALEIGH — Two sections of Milburnie Road are closed as a result of a water main break and are likely to remain closed the remainder of the day, according to city officials.
Crews have fixed the break near the intersection of Milburnie Road and Raleigh Boulevard, but cleanup work continues.
Raleigh Boulevard remains open, but motorists will not be able to turn onto Milburnie Road in either direction. In addition, eastbound traffic on Milburnie is being detoured onto Delaney Drive, while westbound Milburnie traffic is being diverted onto Colleton Road.
