Romney’s colors
In days of yore, pirate ships would fly a neutral flag to be able to approach a merchant ship. When they got close they would run up the Jolly Roger. In post-election comments, Mitt Romney has chosen to get on the deck of his sinking ship and show his true colors. He was and is a person who wants to keep the poor poor so he, pirate that he is, can loot them to keep himself and his kind rich.
As for the middle class, he’s shown his hostility, mocking those who make $30,000 – a mere wager to him – as wanting “gifts” from the government. Shades of the 1 percent looking down on the 99 percent.
